Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Overall i have learnt that photoshop isnt too difficult to use once practiced with for quite a bit. At the beginning of constructing this product i had some difficulties getting the quality of my cropped photos to look airbrushed and smooth like other real media products however after a slightly tedious amount of time spent outside of lesson editing my photos, my use of photoshop improved through its quality and time taken to do it, and the results of my images proved this.

I have learnt that blogger is especially useful with being able to adapt my work previosly uploaded and i have found it tremendously useful when needing to go back and edit things. Blogger has shown to be a reliable site.

Finally my use of googlesearch has proven to be most adequate in researching other real media products in comparison to my music magazine. My ability to find original and unique tips on how to formulate my music magazine has definetly improved.

How does your media product represent particular social groups?

My Magazine also targets business minded people- those who would be interested in the sophisticated style of my magazine.

My magazine adheres to a female audience as the model is female. The female emulation theory would definitely come into play as many females would appeal to the models beauty. It would also appeal to the male audience as the model would definitely be found attractive. Although pretty, the model is fully clothed and maintains a tasteful wardrobe that doesn't abuse her sexuality and so will on a whole represent the more sophisticated female.

The text is also laid out well and has a clean finish which allows an easy read for the mainstream audience.
The colours again stereotypically represent the rock audience and so should naturally appeal to that social group in particular.

How does your media product represent particular social groups?

My magazine targets people who are into high fashion. My media product represents particular social groups by the cover photos of  the artists showcased on the contents page. Using the photo attracts the artist's fans to the magazine, broadening the magazines social groups. The mages suggest a high level of fashion and maybe also a niche sense of style and culture which opens the magazine up to a wider audience/ social group.

My magazine will also target the rock genre.

My music magazine, with the red and black colour scheme attracts an audience that is mainly directed at a rock social group. The clean lines and structured format of the magazine will also attract the professional eye of someone that is slightly more sophisticated. Most of all the model used for my magazine naturally has a rock/ indie look about her and so this will be one of the focal points for a rock audience.
